About me….

A textile design degree thirty years ago kick started my creative career. Since then I have worked as a wallpaper designer, trade, craft and art fair exhibitor and artist /printmaker.

A natural progression to painting has given me the freedom to make more considered, expressive work both emotionally and physically.

Working from these images and sketches of my life experiences has become a rich resource for my work and was especially fruitful during the recent lockdown.

From sketchbooks, my ideas are metamorphosed, to create a dream like narrative in paint. The result is a form of magic realism conveying the observable reality whist preserving sublime memories.
